Vault 101 is the best way to transfer critical data over the internet (email, cloud, messenger, etc.). Even if your Vault Capsule falls into wrong hands it remains completely inaccessible due to it's strong password based AES-256 encryption. It's the best solution if you want to keep your critical data synced yet protected on cloud or FTP servers.

Vault 101 appears only in Fallout 3. It is also marked on a map in HELIOS One in Fallout: New Vegas, and one can access the jumpsuit from the game files in Fallout 4.
It is also mentioned in a poster in Fallout 4, on a wall in the Compound. It is also mentioned by the Vault 76 overseer in Fallout 76.Is a quote from the Fallout Wiki. The compound in question is the one near Covenant and the posters can be found near a chair with questions from the SAFE tests and one of them mentions Vault 101.The actual Vault 101 jumpsuit is cut content only accessible via console commands. We don't really know the purpose of it. It could have been an intended Easter Egg, it could have added to the lore of Covenant, or maybe it was just used by developers for testing? It is a shame to see you downvoted for asking a legitimate question. I wonder if people thought you were making some kind of wild theory or referring to a piece of Creation Club or modded in content.
